Site licenses are for executables for one operating system of your choice. Executables for additional operating systems are available upon request.

Licenses for additional sites at the same company are available at a 50% discount.

Prices include on-line user manuals in HTML format, one year of free updates (by download from CodonCode's web site), and one year of free technical support by e-mail.

Software delivery is by download from CodonCode's web site.

Trial Software

We strongly suggest that you test our trial versions before purchasing, unless you have previous experience with the software.

If you are interested in using Phred-Phrap onWindows or Mac OS X, we suggest that you download CodonCode Aligner. After installing CodonCode Aligner, please request a trial license, which will enable you to use Phred and Phrap from CodonCode Aligner for a limited time period.

Trial versions of Phred, Cross_match, Phrap, and Consed for Linux and some Unix operating systems are also available. If you are interested in a trial version for Linux or Unix, and agree to the terms of the Trial License Agreement, please send an e-mail with the specific operating system (for example Redhat Linux 7.2) to sales@codoncode.com.

Payment terms

Regular Prices

For customers in the US and Canada, payment for is due within 14 days after receipt of the software. Late payment fees are 1.5% per month. International purchases may require prepayment.

Prepayment Prices

We offer a prepayment discount of $100 per item if payment is received with the order. Payment in full must be received by CodonCode before we send you download instructions. The following payment methods all qualify for the prepayment discount:

End Use License Agreement

You must agree to the terms of our End Use License agreement before downloading the software.
You can view the End Use License here.

If you request delivery other than by downloading from our web site, we must receive a signed copy of the End Use License agreement before we can deliver the software.
